I saw a post on Pinterest, that detailed how to make coasters using your photography. And I wanted to try. So I gathered the supplies, and here is how it went.
Supplies Needed
- 4×4 inch photos
- 4×4 inch tiles (I went to Home Depot and grabbed a few of their free samples. I fully intend on buying the tiles I need, once I figure out which style works the best.)
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brush

I used the mod podge as a glue, and I glued the vinyl and then I placed the photo on top. For some reason, I had a bit of trouble getting the photos to line up perfectly against the edge of the vinyl. But they were my practice coasters, so it’s ok.

I have two more to make, so I’m going to be really careful as they aren’t my practice ones, unless I mess up again, then they will be practice ones too. ๐

Over all, I’m happy with the results considering it was my first time. I had a little bit of trouble lining up the photos with the edges of the vinyl, but with more practice and patience I’ll get better at that.
