Cardinal Photography

For a long time, I’ve loved watching cardinals. They are pretty birds, and pretty much the only ones I like. I have an irrational fear of birds that I really don’t want to talk about.
And all winter, I’ve only gotten photos on my phone through the window.
And these aren’t bad photos, but I’ve been wanting to get some with my camera while outside.
Well, yesterday was the first nice day we’ve had this year, so I spent the majority of the day soaking up some much needed vitamin D. I was writing on our patio, and I had Sir Nikolas out with me, just in case.
And I was so happy I did, because this little guy came out for a few minutes.
I’m not 100% happy with how they turned out, but I’m still happy I was able to get a few photos. I wish I was able to get closer, but he was pretty skittish.
I can now cross off taking a photo of a cardinal from my photography bucket list, even though I’m still going to try and take photos of them whenever I get a chance.
