Seven-Year Plan

Today, I have the day off from the day job, so in between doing a ton of laundry, running errands with my husband, and hopefully photographing some old barns, I’m going to be working on my seven-year plan. This is basically, where I want to be by the time I turn 40.

I want to look at income, projects, growth opportunities, travel, and social media.

Income

I want this business to eventually become my full-time career. And in the next seven years, I want to be close to that, if not already there. In order to do that, I need to find several income opportunities. I’ll blog about that search tomorrow. I also need to make a lot of products and take a lot of photos. I am not complaining about either.

Projects

As of right now, I’ve got six different products. I’m Some are better sellers than others, so I’d like to find a few more that I like doing so I can phase out the ones that don’t work. Maybe I’ll revisit the projects that I was thinking about this time last year. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Growth Opportunities

There are a lot of things that I want to learn in order to be a better photographer, business owner, and person. I want to spend some time today thinking of a focus for each of the upcoming years so I can grow.

Travel

The past several posts have been about my travel dreams and things that I want to see. In the next seven years, I’m hoping to make several of them a reality.

Social Media

Last week, I wrote a post about social media. I want to spend some time today deciding which ones to keep and which ones to ditch. I also want to come up with a plan to grow the platforms I want to keep using.

What are you up to today? Let me know in the comments below.
