What I’m Doing Differently in 2023

Happy New Year to you! I hope you all have a great year and accomplish everything you want. As for me, I thought I’d share with you what I’m doing differently in 2023.

Craft Fairs

I’m not going to do as many craft fairs in 2023. My first one isn’t until the end of April, and I’m going to keep it that way. Those first four months of 2022 weren’t profitable for me at craft fairs, so I decided not to do any.

I’m also only doing one or two a month, instead of every weekend. I want to be able to travel more with my husband, even if it’s just day trips. I also want to have more time to photograph sunrises on weekends.

Etsy

Instead of craft fairs, I’m going to focus a lot of my effort on my Etsy shop. I plan on creating two listings every week this year.

Blog

I decided that I’m going to post three times a week instead of just two. I will have my usual days of Monday and Thursday, and then a rotating post as my third one. So this week, my third blog post will be on Wednesday, the week after will be on Tuesday, and so on.

I’m also going to try and comment more on other people’s blogs. I realize that this is a community and I should contribute more than just posting my own content. I’m really looking forward to reading what you all have to share.

Social Media

This year, I’m going to focus on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. I enjoy creating content for Instagram and TikTok, so I will continue to nurture those platforms. However, I haven’t really done much on Pinterest in the past, and I want to make a genuine effort into creating pins before I decide whether or not it is worth the effort.

I finally decided that I’m not going to be posting much on Facebook this year. I’m sick of the political drama that goes on there, so I’m taking a break. I’ve already pretty much stopped going there, and honestly, I don’t really miss it.
