The Sun Finally Came Out
I woke up a little after 6 on Tuesday morning, hoping for there to be a sunrise. It was a struggle to leave my warm bed, but I eventually did and got ready to go. And as I was heading out the door, I saw that the sun finally came out.
Initially, I was going to go to Asylum Bay so I could photograph the lighthouse with the early morning glow, but I thought you guys might be sick of reading about that park, so I continued down the road to Menominee Park.
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, so that meant that I had to find interesting compositions to make up for an uninteresting horizon.
I captured this first photo just before the sun rose above the horizon. The dark island of trees on the left is a nice counterbalance to the bright sky on the right.

This second photo was taken just as the sun was on the horizon. I absolutely love the glow of the snow in the foreground. There is also a hint of a starburst effect on the sun.

While I was out, I also made a few TikToks. This may be one of the last TikToks that I share with the potential ban in the U.S. Hopefully, it doesn’t come to that, and I’ll keep you posted as soon as I hear anything. I’ll also let you know which platforms I plan on utilizing if I have to move. If you have any suggestions let me know in the comments below.
Anyway, these are my two favorite photos from Tuesday morning. You can also check out the black-and-white photo that I took that morning here. Next week, I’ll post about my secret adventure in Green Bay. I’m so excited to share that with you.
