April Wellness

Well, I didn’t die from a lack of sugar last month. I did have a few cheat days, but that’s ok. Baby steps, right?! Anyway, here are my April wellness goals.

  1. Continue with the limited sugar. That went well enough last month that I want to keep it up. I might even try and cut back even more, but we’ll see.
  2. Continue with the water intake. This hasn’t really been an issue and I’d like to keep it that way.
  3. Take my bike out. It is finally getting warmer, so I’d like to spend more time outside. Especially after how long this past winter was. It seems like the older I get, the longer winter gets. Has anyone else noticed that too?
  4. Work on my mental health. I saw a TikTok that suggested that magnesium glyceinate was helpful for anxiety and sleep. We’ve been taking it for a few weeks now and maybe it’s helping. I feel like I’ve been sleeping better anyway.

What are your April wellness goals? Comment below so I can cheer for you.

  1. I substitute real maple syrup for sugar in most things. Your body processes it differently (more healthily) than sugar. You might want to check that out for those craving days!

    • I haven’t cut out sugar entirely, I just don’t want it until later in the afternoon. But I’ll have to try maple syrup for a sweet treat.
