Headlight

Yesterday was supposed to be my last sunrise while not on vacation. But both my car and my husband’s car have a burnt-out headlight. (Mine actually got fixed yesterday afternoon, but his car isn’t yet.) So, I’m trying to be mindful of going out when it’s still dark out. I plan on going out on Saturday when I’ll have my car for a while before he goes to work.

Instead of my sunrise adventure, I thought I’d just share with you what I’ve been up to this past week.

It has been absolutely gorgeous outside this whole week, so I’ve spent most of my time outside, soaking up that much-needed vitamin D after the long winter we had.

As you know, I went out on Monday night to photograph Lake Winnebago and to play in the water. Then on Tuesday, I was out with friends playing Pokemon Go. I did happen to make a TikTok of the sunset that night. (I forgot about the headlight situation at that time).

Yesterday, I spent almost all day outside. I was only inside for a little bit to get ready to get my headlight fixed. I just hung out at home and read on our patio. And it was exactly what I needed.

And tonight, I sat outside for a little bit and worked on my stone photo holders. I got about half of them done before my hands started to hurt, so I stopped for the night.

That’s what I’ve been up to during this past week. Next week we’re supposed to get snow. So I was really glad that I have been able to take full advantage of this unseasonably warm weather and sunshine.
