Weekend Update

This past weekend was full of good intentions. I wanted to get a lot of things done. Unfortunately, I accomplished almost nothing that was on my to-do list. But that’s ok sometimes.

Weekend Travel

We spent the weekend at my mom and dad’s house. And I had every intention of exploring with my camera. But it was cold and rainy, so I didn’t really get the chance to. I also wanted to make TikToks for myself and help my mom learn TikTok too. Neither of those really happened either. We did have a lot of fun visiting though, so I’m not going to complain.

I was able to go out for a few minutes yesterday morning between the rain showers. Once I upload the few photos I have to my computer I can share them with you. Assuming they look alright.

Short Story

I decided that I’m taking a break from writing short stories. I’m working on a super secret project right now, and I want to focus on that piece of fiction until it’s done. I’m only a few pages into it, so it could be awhile. My husband doesn’t even know what my new project is about, so I can’t tell you any more than I already have.

Once I finish this project, I’ll come back to writing short stories if you guys are interested. Let me know in the comments either way.

Books

On a positive note, my books came a day early, so my husband was able to pick them up from the post office before we went away for the weekend. I’m really looking forward to reading them, and I can’t wait to apply the knowledge I gain.
