If I Had A Million Dollars

Do you guys know the song If I Had $1,000,000 by Barenaked Ladies? Well, I’ve had that song stuck in my head for the past few days, and that sparked the idea for this blog post. What would I do if I had a million dollars?

Now I’m going to avoid the obvious answer of travel. I’ve written several posts about where I want to go, and I don’t need to do that again. Instead I’m going to focus on things that I’ve been dreaming of, or that would make my life easier as a photographer.

Office

First, I’m going to build my she shed. We’re finally getting to the point where this will be on our list of soonish home renovations, we just need to save enough money to do it. I’m trying not to think about how much it’s going to cost right now.

I’d also look into getting a printer so I can print my own photos. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my current situation, but if I can potentially save money I would like to. I’d also like to maybe change up my current card-making process and a printer might be one way of doing that.

Camera Gear

This one is a little trickier to do because I really like my current camera setup. I might get another backup, or maybe consider adding a different brand to my lineup. Just to be more well-rounded.

I would probably get the drone that I’ve been maybe thinking about. I still haven’t quite decided if it would be worth the investment now, but if I had a million dollars I don’t see why not.

Camper Bus

This is probably the last thing I would get. I know I said I wasn’t going to talk about travel, but getting a camper bus would make it a lot easier to go on weekend getaways.

This is another item that my husband and I are seriously talking about, but my she shed/office has to be done first because we need a place to park the bus. (The shed has turned into a detached garage so we can both have the space we want).
