Calendar Update

I’m in the process of doing a content calendar update for the rest of the year. I haven’t been too enthused with my current blog topics, so I was planning on spending some time next week coming up with better options. I also have a new calendar for 2024 already, so depending on how creative and inspired I’m feeling I might start planning that too.

Before I get too carried away with what I want to write, I was wondering what kind of posts you guys like seeing. I’m pretty open to whatever as long as it’s related to photography or my business.

Content

Here’s the list of topics that I currently have.

1. Book Reviews–Those should be coming in the next couple of weeks.
2. Card Making
3. Fall Color
4. Winter Wonderland
5. Bucket List Updates
6. Year in Review
7. Travel?

I’m thinking about adding a few of these ideas also.

1. Top 10 Lists
2. Behind the scenes? (I feel like I might already do this)
3. Tips and Tricks: would you like to read what I have to offer for that?
4. Short story or poem: Did you guys enjoy those? Do you want me to bring them back?
5. Craft Events–do you want updates on how they go, how I set up, or anything else related to that?

Length

My blog posts have been on the shorter side, ranging about 300 words or so. Is that a good length for you guys, or do you want to read longer posts? Or do you want to see a combination of both?

I’m also considering showing some photos without any story behind them. Maybe treat it like Instagram a couple of times a month. Thoughts on that?

Am I overthinking this? I feel like I am, but at the same time, I would like to see a calendar update so I stay on track with my blog. If I don’t have it written down, then I won’t keep up with it, and that is the last thing I want to happen.
