Fall Color 2023–Part One

Tonight was such a lovely fall night that I just had to go out and photograph the fall color. I also wanted to play Pokémon Go while the weather was still nice out.

I started at the pond, where I normally start, and I saw the red tree in the middle of all the green and booked it over there. The clouds in the sky were cool looking too, and I’m glad I was able to capture them and the reflection of the trees.

The fall color is just starting to appear on these trees on the other side of the pond.

Then I wandered through the park, seeing what I saw, and just looking at the trees. I also came really close to hatching an egg in my game. If I knew how close I was, I honestly would have stayed a little longer. In addition to that, I also made a few TikToks that I can’t wait to share with you guys later this week.

It was starting to get dark, and I didn’t bring my tripod, so I decided to head back to my car. I didn’t get to spend nearly as much time out there as I would have liked, but I still have a few weeks before the snow falls to enjoy fall. On my way back to my car I saw this yellow tree. So I took a small detour and went over there. And after I photographed this tree, I saw another one further back to photograph it too.

A yellow tree amidst the green.
A yellow tree by a lot of greenery.

The fall color is just starting to pop, and I’m really looking forward to showing you more of it as the weeks progress. Are the leaves changing by you yet? I’d love to see some of your photos too.

  1. We don’t get too much color change because of the types of trees we have. So many of our trees flower in one way or another, so they are amazing in the spring! But I do love the colored trees in the fall when I see photos!
