NaNoWriMo 2023

Earlier this month I posted about NaNoWriMo 2023. I mentioned how I wasn’t sure if I was going to participate, and what I wanted to do for a project if I decided to.

Well, I think I made a decision.

Obviously, I’m going to participate, because why wouldn’t I? I thrive in this kind of torture. (Kidding, it’s not torture). I say that now, but ask me again in the middle of November.

I also decided what I’m going to work on too. The plan is to get all of my content written up for the rest of the year. I’m talking blog posts, social media content, emails, and product descriptions for here and for Etsy.

I’ve been meaning to get ahead on my content for a while now, I just haven’t been motivated enough to sit down and write it all. So I hope to get as much of it written up as possible. That way, I can spend more time going out with my camera instead of sitting behind my computer.

I took some time the other day trying to determine a rough word count for everything I want to do, and if I stick with those numbers, I should come in around 50,000 words. Which is the word count goal of NaNoWriMo. And If I wind up being a little short, I can always work on my secret project that I’ve been thinking about all summer.

So that’s the plan for NaNoWriMo 2023. I’ll keep you posted throughout November as I accomplish everything. In the meantime, I’m going to start planning my time for when I want to write the content. I might even outline some blog posts so I can hit higher word counts for them than what I normally post. Hope you guys are looking forward to longer posts. I know I am.
